Massachusetts Proposes Ban on Controversial Word: Wishful Thinking?

On Oct. 29, a bill proposing to ban the word "B*tch" will appear before Massachusetts’ Joint Committee. According to Boston.com, anyone who uses the word to “accost, annoy, degrade or demean” another person will be deemed "disorderly." The first offense will come with a $150 fine; the second offense faces a $200 fine or six months or less in prison for "additional offenses."
