We all have those one or two pieces of jewelry that we guard with our lives. Like, the ones that only come out once a year during the most formal of formal events and get packed away in their original, padded packaging the rest of the time. For me, it's a pair of diamond-studded hoops I was gifted for my 18th birthday, which I've probably worn...three times.
It's not that we don't love these jewels -- it's that we're terrified of losing or ruining them! When you shell out for a piece of fine jewelry, you're going to keep it in pristine condition, you know?
Of course, if you're someone like Martha Stewart, you don't have to worry as much about that. She shared a carousel on her personal Instagram of her pups, French bulldogs Crème Brûlée and Bête Noire and Chow Chow Emperor Han (I know), preparing for snack time with Stewart's new CBD dog treats. The Frenchies were dressed to impressed, each sporting diamond collars.
When a fan asked after their origin, Stewart tried her best to remember, but it could have been either Cartier or Van Cleef. Slipped her mind!
Remember when Chrissy Teigen joked that her mom treats Apple AirPods like disposable razors? If Pepper loses a pair, she simply...buys another. Those babies run $160 a pop, which would make the rest of us balk, but for John Legend's mother-in-law, that's pennies.
Stewart's dog collars kind of remind me of that -- why does she care if the dogs play too rough one of these days and pop out a diamond? Or if a strand wiggles loose on one of their walks? She's Martha freakin' Stewart!
Do we all wish we could afford to outfit our fur babies in the best goods available to them? Sure, but for now, we'll let Martha have her moment.
