It seems like every other building on Main Street is a
charming bed and breakfast, but the centerpiece of downtown is the Equinox Golf Resort & Spa, a 200-year-old historic inn. Once the getaway of many U.S. presidents, it also includes golf, an indoor
pool and a world-class spa. There’s a huge fire pit out back and probably the
most happening bar scene in all of Manchester.
The Equinox's more reserved neighbor is the Kimpton Taconic Hotel,
complete with a massive rocking chair-lined porch and a small lap pool. It’s
the perfect spot for relaxing, reading or playing cornhole on the lush, green
lawn.
An adorable budget option is the very hip Rest, a boutique motel with classy midcentury modern interiors. Six
rooms boast a jacuzzi and a private deck.
