These Bite-Sized Reviews of "The Little Mermaid Live!" Are a Hoot
Disney took a risk last night with one of its more challenging animated films to adapt (because, as Deadline so aptly put it, "All that water"). Instead of recreating the entire 1989 original, it took a page from its theme park and Hollywood Bowl performances and stuck to musical numbers. The reviews were mixed, but the responses on social media were solid gold.
