Mason is 4 years old and already has more personality than anyone I know.
The tot is starting out in his hockey career, and when his dad mic'd the little guy up during a typical practice, the video went viral -- everyone could relate to the struggles (and successes!) of a budding hockey star.
Now, Mason is back, and this time he's playing in a real game! Dad also hooked him up with a Go-Pro this go-around for some extra play-by-play footage, which he can be heard sternly telling his friend not to touch.
From "gassing out" on the ice to telling his peers to share the puck unless they want their heads "cracked up" (maybe he doesn't fully understand the rules...), Mason's running commentary is better than anything I've hard a sportscaster do, and his devotion to food ("BaDonald's" and "yummy sandwiches," specifically) is downright inspiring.
Not to mention his insults. "Old paint can"? "Sausages"?! These kids can't stand up against Mason's zings.
He's got spunk, he's got passion and he's got a competitive edge that rivals the pros...until his legs get too tired, that is.
The best part about these videos though? He's always telling his parents how much he loves them, even from the middle of the ice! They're doing something right, those two.
Let's remember Mason when he gets drafted, shall we? Bet that kid on the bench will want to be his best friend then.
