John Legend is fresh off an EGOT win, but that wasn't going to stop the superstar from putting out fresh new content for us all. And man, is he delivering.
Legend is joining the ranks of Michael Bublé, Kelly Clarkson and Mariah Carey and putting out his very own holiday album jam packed with Christmastime tunes to please even the most grumpy Grinches. The album, called "A Legendary Christmas" (we love a good pun), will have 14 tracks full of merriness and yuletide carols, including the two that we get to grace our ears with today: "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" (which features the Grammy-winning Esperanza Spalding) and an original called "Bring Me Love."
The album is out come Oct. 26, and then Legend will be embarking on a 25-stop tour beginning Nov. 15 to promote the holiday harmonies. Twenty-five days of Christmas just got a whole lot sweeter.
I'm picturing Legend crooning these ballads to Luna and Miles as they fall asleep. Ah, the holidays.
