Halloween is all about creativity -- what better way to show off your imagination and resourcefulness than pulling off a crazy-cool costume? The potential is endless; one year, I wore a robe, a puppy mask and an ice pack on my head and went “sick as a dog.” Fourth-grade me was a pun champion, I know.
That being said, some costume designers (can you even call them “designers”?) all but give up when it comes to thinking outside the box. Instead, they find pretty mainstream costumes and just...change the name. It’s pretty sad, and Twitter users are catching on to how embarrassing it really is. We get it, licensing rights are expensive...but, really?
And they get worse.
