Kim Kardashian West has a myriad of reputations -- we don’t necessarily need to go into all of them. But while she stars in a reality show that’s been running for over a decade, is the “author” of a best-selling book and has created makeup and fragrance lines, “creative” isn’t exactly the first word that comes to mind when you think about her.
Neither is “funny,” but the public is getting more and more on board with her comedic abilities.
That all being said, Kardashian West has the means to do whatever she wants -- including, apparently, filming a prank show.
“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” has captured a little of the Kardashian sisters’ inclination toward pranking each other, but it looks like we’ll be getting a closer, behind-the-scenes look at the family’s antics.
Everyone remember Scott Disick’s Todd Kraines prank?
And Kim isn’t the only Kardashian branching off from their namesake show: Khloe, too, has started another program. “Twisted Sisters” premiered on Investigation Discovery on Sept. 3 and will be a six-part series about criminal sister duos. This show comes after Khloe started “Revenge Body” last year.
“You Kiddin’ Me?!” is set to premiere on Sept. 22 on Facebook Watch and will star the Kardashian-Jenner clan in addition to celebrity guests. Think “Punk’d,” but without Ashton.
Though Kim’s show is set to be stocked with celeb pranksters like Lisa Rinna and Zoe Saldana, I think she’s missing one huge member of the Hollywood elite to feature on her show: Blue Ivy Carter.
Last week, Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter proved that, even at 6 years old, she’s a worthy prankster. Blue Ivy’s grandmother, Tina Lawson, posted an Instagram video documenting her discovery of a prank her granddaughter played on her during breakfast. The giggle in the background is evidence of a prank well pulled off.
We know that Bey and Jay skipped Kim and husband Kanye West’s wedding in 2014 (the reasoning of which hasn’t ever really been confirmed) to the couple’s disappointment, but maybe fences can be mended with a guest appearance of their daughter on “You Kiddin’ Me?!”
