Some kids have imaginary friends. Some have a special stuffed animal, blankie or similar comforting companion. Others have...skeletons.
TikTok user Abigail Brady wanted to document a nice afternoon outdoors with her young son, but he insisted they bring along a friend. An undead, plastic friend, to be exact.
"My son insisted on bringing his skeleton friend to the reservoir," she wrote, playing The White Stripes' "We Are Going to Be Friends" over images of the decoration playing with the tot, getting a boost down the playground slide and enjoying the view from the sand.
The skeleton, who's name is actually Benny, also enjoys being read stories before bedtime. By people who can't read.
The video was shared to Twitter under the caption, "Me trying to make the most out of 2020," and, turns out, this little guy's not the only one who's gotten super attached to a fake skeleton. Parents sounded off in the replies to the tweets, sharing similar experiences of their kids (fur babies included) befriending a home decor item.
Is this what happens when kids can't have playdates for six months?
