Bask in Jenny Slate’s Best Works in Preparation for Her Upcoming Memoir

Jenny Slate, comedian, writer and actress, is a damn delight. The 36-year-old Massachusetts native is pretty understated when it comes to her career, but talent-wise, she’s in the game. Coming up soon, she’s publishing a book titled “Little Weirds,” a memoir she said is “an expression of my truest voice, a tour of my inner world, and all of it is made of small, odd pieces,” according to Entertainment Weekly. I’m on my freakin’ toes waiting for this book, slated (LOL) to come out Nov. 5, so allow me to bring you on a tour of Slate’s repertoire.

“Worst” is in quotations here because even though that’s the only way Mona Lisa Saperstein is described throughout the series, she is incredible. Gold-digging, lazy and downright mean most of the time, Slate played Mona Lisa with a gumption that can only be laughed along with.
