Japanese residents are enjoying the annual bloom of the sakura, or the pink and white cherry blossoms that take over this time of year. While the flowers only experience a "peak bloom" of a few days, experts recorded that the blossoms have bloomed earlier than they have in 1,200 years -- and it's largely due to climate change. Still, flower-chasers -- like this (un)lucky pup -- flocked to their nearest parks and selfie spots to snap photos of the sakura before they disappear once more.
