Is the Aperol Spritz "Not a Good Drink"?

Yesterday, Rebekah Peppler wrote an article for the New York Times declaring the Aperol Spritz, an Italian cocktail quickly gaining popularity in the states, "not a good drink." People have expressed their outrage over the peice on social media, going so far as to call Peppler's "the worst opinion of 2019."
