You’ve probably seen tons of articles toting the benefits of meditation, and for good reason. Meditation improves mental health and attention span, reduces stress, helps sleep and so much more. Meditation is more than just sitting quietly; it’s a purposeful technique that focuses on breathing for heightened awareness. Don’t be fooled--when done correctly, meditation is not easy, but exercising your brain is just as important as exercising your body. There are a few different types of meditation, but for now we’ll focus on mindful meditation.
