I’m guilty of doing this with “Harry Potter.” For some reason, I watched the first two movies before even knowing that it was a book series (I had limited internet access as a kid, please don’t bully me). Now, I’m in the process of righting my wrongs and diligently making my way from “Sorcerer’s Stone” through “Deathly Hallows Part 2,” but it’s not easy, people! I already have these scenes playing out in my head from the films even though I probably would have pictured it all differently while reading.
So if you’re like me and want to get the book experience of a story after already sitting through the film adaptation, here are some steps to try it out.
