Is this tale about cute little Mogwais that multiply when
you get them wet and turn evil when you feed them after midnight a classic
Christmas movie? Or is it a scarring experience for kids once they hear where Santa
got stuck? Discuss.

the first and best of any Ghostbusters movie ever made (and that will ever be

The film that launched both a franchise, a superstar
(Ahhhhnold) and the catchphrase, “I’ll be back.”
In my opinion, the best of the four. It’s got a hot young
Harrison Ford, action, adventure, romance and the worst dinner party of all
time. What more could you ask for in a film?
Fresh off his "Saturday Night Live" stint, Eddie Murphy was
on a hot streak with comedies like "48 Hrs." and "Trading Places." As this was the highest-grossing movie of the year, the heat was

Apple. Some things are just meant to be.
"1984": the movie set in 1984, made in 1984 and based on the

This is the Robert De Niro mafia film that is not "The Godfather," "Goodfellas" or "Casino." I’m starting to feel like he’s been
typecast…
This mockumentary captures a fictional
band turn it up to 11 (sorry, I had to).
Not quite "Indiana Jones," this romance-adventure gave a new meaning to the term, “mudslide.”
This retelling of King Arthur via baseball featured Robert Redford and
a bat named “Wonderboy.”
The first in a series of seven movies (seven!), this film about a
bumbling police force was the height of wacky '80s comedies.
It’s hard to pick a favorite part of this feel-good dance
film -- the killer soundtrack, Kevin Bacon’s solo angry dance or the end dance eruption
with glitter? So much glitter...
The
geeks shall inherit the frat, like they did in this raunchy collegiate comedy.
This literal fish-out-of-water romance was irresistible,
partly thanks to leads Tom Hanks and Daryl Hannah, both of whom added so much charm to their
characters.

Call this one sexy "E.T."?
Romance and thrills on the beaches of Mexico, plus Jeff
Bridges' perfectly-trimmed beard. Paradise.
