There's an element of magic in the gowns that the Duchess of Cambridge wears. Maybe it has something to do with fairy tales or Disney princesses, but whenever I see a photo of HRH in a gown I say to myself, "Now that's royalty." Wouldn't you know, even magical royals endure their share of wardrobe woes. That's right, everyone. The Duchess of Cambridge is just like us. How, you ask? Royal reporter Katie Nicholl revealed in the new British documentary "Secrets of the Royal Dressmakers" that in 2011 the royal bride-to-be was crushed to learn that the press revealed the identity of her wedding gown designer, Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. "Behind the scenes I think that caused tears at the Palace because Kate had done everything she could to keep the wedding dress a secret." You'd never know from Kate's poise on the big day, but she was on edge just like every other bride.
