Ah, the classic "I'm not going to say goodbye to anyone" move. Many know it, few can pull it off successfully. How many of the below scenarios have you bowed out of without saying farewell?
Yes, there are so many people to say goodbye to and thank for the invite. But for the love of cupcakes, at least find one half of the newlyweds and say "tell ___ thank you so much. I have no idea where he/she went to, but what a day!"
You can be forgiven for pulling an Irish goodbye in this scenario. Odds are you've been at this location (or with these people) for the better part of a day and there is no easy way to say "I'm going to go home now" without everyone booing you.
Hell hath no fury like friends who see that you tried to sneak off to bed. Who cares if you want to feel half human tomorrow? There are memories to be made!
Just say goodbye, at least to the host/hostess. Otherwise you will never hear the end of it from your siblings and/or mother.
There were five of you at the table. You got up to go to the bathroom and didn't come back. At least you sent a text letting them know you left, which is very big of you.
