1. Use them as decor
This may seem like a no-brainer, but I love to use my more neutral-colored spines as statement pieces. Style a select few between trendy bookends, for example, and place on a wall shelf. Or, stack a couple hardcovers to create some elevation on your mantel. You'd be surprised just how many places you can incorporate your literature once you think beyond the bookshelf!
