When the youngest of your four children celebrates her 6th birthday, you usually make do with pizza and cake served on paper plates, and maybe some inexpensive form of entertainment to keep the guests from getting antsy.
When you are the youngest child and only daughter of David and Victoria Beckham, however, things are a bit...better. According to The Telegraph, Posh and Becks recently shared photos on Instagram of daughter Harper's sixth birthday party at -- wait for it -- Buckingham Palace, the Queen's official residence.
Her Majesty is on annual holiday up in Scotland, so there was no chance of disrupting anything important. You have to hand it to the Beckhams for putting almost any event -- weddings included -- to shame. I'd gladly dress up as Cinderella and spend my birthday at the palace.
Harper and her friends even got to pose with a real princess; Eugenie, daughter of Prince Andrew and granddaughter of the queen, got down to the little partygoers' level for a photo op (above).
It's not entirely clear how the Beckhams were able to lock this down for Harper and her squad, but David did try to explain why they were there in the first place.
"Just to be clear this wasn't the palace opening the gates for Harper's birthday party , this was a tea party where us and other guests were invited so it was a beautiful thing to do with My mum , Harper plus a few school friends... We were honored to be able to there... Beautiful tea party...."
Dailybreak has reached out to Buckingham Palace for a comment.
Becks could go blue in the face trying to explain the occasion and I'd still come to the conclusion that Harper Beckham had a birthday party at Buckingham Palace and I did not.
