It's no secret that we're all pretty excited about the upcoming "Gilmore Girls" revival, "A Year in the Life." I, for one, just finished re-watching the final season of the beloved series in preparation for the new episodes that come out just a week from tomorrow (!!).
The video opens with Lorelai and Rory discussing what they know best -- food. "Did we order Chinese, Greek and Italian food last night?" Lorelai asks. "And hot dogs," Rory confirms.
Personally, I think this is just the girls recalling some drunk food they ordered for a late-night case of the drunchies, but there are rumors swirling on the interweb that Rory could also be pregnant in the revival (I don't believe it). Yes, this would also explain the food cravings. But let's be honest, the Gilmore girls have never been shy with their eating habits so this could just be a casual Thursday night for them.
Next, Luke grumbly says, "I'm not making tator tots." To which Lorelai replies, "They're organic."
So Lorelai cares about eating organic food now? Who are you and what have you done with my favorite TV mom???
BUT WAIT. The biggest thing to come out of this teaser -- Rory and Jess. Are they or aren't they? Well, we still don't know which of Rory's many suitors she will choose (if any). But this teaser gives us a very clear look at her jumping for joy and screaming with excitement when she sees Jess. Does this mean they're together? Is there a very exciting/romantic reunion between the two ex-lovebirds?
We also see Rory and Lorelai strutting down the sidewalk in costumes like they DGAF.
Kirk appears to be present at one of the infamous Gilmore Friday night dinners -- possibly the Gilmore's Thanksgiving dinner? "Explain to me again who that person is," Emily questions. "Oh, that I could," Lorelai replies. Oh, Kirk. You can't help but love him.
My anticipation for this revival is officially through the roof.
"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" premiers on Netflix Nov. 25.
