1. Love Your Melon beanie
Two entrepreneurship students at the University of St. Thomas created Love Your Melon as a way of battling pediatric cancer. It started as a buy-a-beanie-give-a-beanie initiative, and as a result, the headwear brand provided each child living with cancer in America (45,000) with a warm hat. Now, they donate 50 percent of all profits to provide support to kids living with cancer and research facilities. Buy a beanie, cap or other winter accessories and know that a portion of your purchase is helping sick kids.
