I've lived in Boston for a while now and as a result, I've gotten used to the fact that you're basically required to cheer for the New England Patriots here. There are three things that matter to people in this city: Dunkin', an inherent distrust of car blinkers and the Pats. So although I'll be cheering for Belichick and the crew on Sunday, these cute and cuddly sea animals from the Georgia Aquarium are really making me second guess my decision.
The entire state of Georgia is more than excited about the Atlanta Falcons making it to the Super Bowl, and for good reason; the team has only made it to the big game once, and they ended up losing. To show their support for the Falcons, the animals at the Georgia Aquarium got together to cheer on their team in what has to be the cutest Super Bowl fan video ever.
With the help of some trainers, the aquarium's seals, penguins, otters, dolphins and more recorded a short video encouraging the Falcons to "rise up!" and win Super Bowl LI. There's something about seeing a Beluga Whale cheering, or a penguin kicking a football, that really gets me excited for sports. Maybe we can just scratch the whole Super Bowl thing altogether and fill NRG Stadium with cute sea animals. You're OK, Brady, but I'd rather look at a sea lion if we're being honest here.
