Netflix paid a bazillion (accurate figure, I promise) dollars to hold on to "Friends" for their platform after intense backlash from fans earlier this year. Now, though, they're serious: The sitcom will be removed from Netflix in 2020 when it gets taken back by WarnerMedia for a new platform, HBO Max.
