If you need to get out of the house and have an adventure,
TikTok has an idea for you -- the
#FourCourseMealChallenge.
In this fun challenge, you and your partner pick four things to eat -- usually a drink, an appetizer, an entrée and a dessert -- at four different
locations. To choose where to go next, the pairs or groups use "Rock, Paper, Scissors" to battle.
You can do this activity as a date night, a best friend hang-out or
even a family night -- that’s one of the great things about it. You can also do
it up big at a sit-down restaurant or keep it casual at fast-food drive thrus, or even a mix of
both. Eat in the car, eat on the beach, take it all home; the choice is yours.
To try this challenge, all you need is a buddy and a plan. How can you choose what to eat, though? Is it a taco night or sushi celebration? Making a short list is probably key so you don't spend all night trying to decide on the next stop.
If four courses is too much, you don't have to cram it all into two hours. Some stretch it to two meals -- maybe do a scenic drive in the middle? There's always leftovers to take home to enjoy the next day.
Everyone seems to have the best
food where they live! And people are doing this all over the world, too, not just in the U.S. There are videos
from Holland, Brunei and in this case, Berlin, Germany. This inspires our future travel
plans -- that’s a great way to tour a city.
If you don’t feel like going out, try the Four Course Meal Challenge at home, like this couple did. Because you’re not driving, it can be
boozy! Everything they made is from scratch, down to the pickles and buns
for their chicken sandwiches. They said the cooking took all day, but that’s one way to spend quality time together.
Time to find a friend and dream of your perfect eats if you
win each round. But really, with all this good food, even if you lose, you still win!
