Just days after she and her "Game of Thrones" co-stars won big at the Emmys, Emilia Clarke is commemorating her time as the Mother of Dragons in a different way: by (finally) getting a GoT tattoo. I, for one, am LIVING for it.
"MOD 4 LYFE!!!!🔥@_dr_woo_ made sure this mamma ain’t NEVER forgetting her babies..." the "Me Before You" star shared on Instagram, showing off her new ink of three tiny dragons flying up her wrist. The tattoo was done by Dr. Woo, a celebrity tattoo artist known for his fine needle work who has also inked the likes of Cara Delevigne, Drake and Miley Cyrus.
Woo also shared a video of he and Clarke on his Instagram story. It should come as no surprise that the always-cheesing Daenerys Stormborn is grinning from ear to ear.
Clarke isn't the first "Game of Thrones" alum to get a Westeros-inspired tattoo, and she definitely won't be the last. Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa in the HBO series, also marked the end of filming GoT's finale season by getting some fresh ink. So the pack survives, huh?
Though many diehard "Game of Thrones" fans (myself included) took this to mean that the Starks are the family to finally break the wheel and stay standing at the end of it all, Turner assured James Corden that the line is simply a quote from the finale season, NOT a spoiler.
"When I was getting it done, people advised me not to because it looked like I was giving everything away," Turner said on the "Late Late Show." "But I wasn't! It's just a quote from last season, but everyone figures that the pack really does survive."
"It's just a moral that I like to live by," she continued.
Soooo I guess I know what my next tattoo(s) will be.
The eighth and final season of "Game of Thrones" premieres in 2019.
