Rom-com sweetheart Drew Barrymore officially launched Flower Home, her new line of furniture, decor and accessories, and spoiler alert: It’s beautiful. Think about it -- what do you imagine when you hear Barrymore’s name? Probably her syrupy-sweet voice, her skin that somehow achieves that perfect dewiness we’re always going for and an overall easy breezy impression, I’d say. Lucky for us, that’s exactly what she’s bringing to the table (or, you know, your coffee table) with Flower Home.
The pieces are vibrant without being obnoxious, aesthetically-pleasing while still maintaining that mismatched look everyone strives for and just eclectic enough to keep your space interesting. Largely inspired by the globetrotter’s personal travels, the over 200 items in the collection go for anywhere from $18 to $900 and are available exclusively online at Walmart, Hayneedle and Jet.
Barrymore will come out with new pieces to coincide with the turn of the seasons, and her springtime designs are definitely buzzing.
“I’ve been saying I wanted to go into home and design for 20 years because it’s really where my life and my passion lies. Now, finally, finally we’re here!” Barrymore told PEOPLE. The line marks another installment of her Flower brand, having already launched Flower Beauty, Flower Eyewear, Flowerpress Magazine and her production company, Flower Films.
“I think I’m most inspired by my godmother. She had a very salon-style house. The walls were filled and there were books and soft floral pillows,” she said, revealing that she didn’t make the pieces match on purpose. “I wanted a collection filled with things that felt like they came from different places around the world.”
Plus, she's launched a kids' furniture line as well! From dressers and wall decor to full bed frames, it's obvious that this mom knows how to make a haven for children.
Spring is the perfect time to redecorate right? Here’s your inspiration.
