Meet Digby, a golden retriever/lab mix who is training to be an assistance dog for U.K. charity Dogs for Good. That's right, this isn't just a handsome face you see. Soon Digby will be able to support a child with autism or someone of any age with a physical disability.
Like his counterparts Wrangler and Charlie did with the "Today" show, Digby joined ITV's "This Morning" back in September for his social training. And just like Wrangler and Charlie, Digby has the entire nation wrapped around his paw.
Today, Prince Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, made a special appearance on the morning program to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Charles and Camilla, both being dog people, were right at home playing with Digby and his fellow guide dogs, Clover and Luna.
At one point, Digby (who injured his paw on a walk) saw a piece of sound equipment and decided it would make a lovely toy. In Digby's defense, the piece was held low to the ground.
Like any dog owner, Charles saw that Digby had something he shouldn't in his mouth and took it away.
Don't cry for Digby, though, because the prince then gave him a nice pat on the head. All was forgiven as Digby snuggled against Charles' leg as if to say, "It ok. Treat?"
