Thank the old gods and the new, because we finally kinda sorta have a premiere date for the upcoming eighth and final season of "Game of Thrones." That fateful Sunday in April 2019, catch me vegged out on my couch with a tall glass of red and some turkey legs popcorn, ready to weep in honor of the beginning of the end. What's in store for season 8? We don't know quite yet, other than that it will probably most definitely f*ck us up real good.
"Game of Thrones" director David Nutter, the brain behind the Red Wedding and Cersei's walk of shame, recently did an AMA (ask me anything) on Reddit and gave a few hints as to what we might expect when April rolls around, as well as some tidbits about his time on the show over the years.
