Daiquiri Recipes Beyond Strawberry for National Daiquiri Day

Happy National Daiquiri Day! This lime, rum, and sugar cocktail traces its roots to Cuba at the beginning of the 1900s, probably named after a local beach near a mine. Rumor has it one of two Americans, both mining adjacent, named the drink and it came to New York in 1902.

A stirred version of the drink is the classic, but a frozen blended strawberry version became what the drink is known as. Strawberry daiquiris are great, but there's so much more to this simple rum cocktail!
