If you're anything like me, you know that cookie dough is a delicacy that can solve almost any problem you may have. Break up with your significant other? Eat cookie dough. Have a bad day at work? Eat cookie dough. Casual Friday night in with Netflix and your pajamas? Eat cookie dough. Nine times out of 10, I make cookie with the sole purpose of eating it with a spoon and no intention of ever baking it. (Don't pretend you don't do it too.) Well, the heavens have opened up and God is smiling down at us because an official cookie dough café is opening in New York City. Yes, dreams really...dough...come true.
The shop is called Dō -- pronounced "dough," obviously -- and it serves cookie dough that is perfectly safe to eat in all its sweet and magical glory. It's made with pasteurized egg and heat-treated flour, so you don't get sick from eating too much of it raw! (We've all been there.)
