Netflix's October Programming Will Be Haunting Our Dreams All Month Long

It's going to take a lot to tear us away from the TV in October. For starters, Netflix is finally dropping the final season of "Schitt's Creek," and after the show's remarkable Emmys sweep, it's the perfect time to re-watch this wonderful series. But we all know what we really want in October: Halloween movies. Luckily, Adam Sandler checked that box when he filmed "Hubie Halloween" in Salem, Mass. last year with *checks notes* every single famous actor he knows. There'll also be "The Haunting of Bly Manor" and volume two of the "Unsolved Mysteries" reboot to sufficiently creep us out. Equally scary news? The time has come for "Parks and Recreation" to bid Netflix adieu as it moves to NBC's streamer, Peacock. Sounds like we have a lot to keep us up at night this month. And, for further proof that time in 2020 means absolutely nothing, Netflix is even rolling out some holiday programming: "Holidate," starring Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey as singles who pretend to be a couple during holidays (yes, this again) will release as well.
