Netflix Is Pulling out the Big Guns in December to Round out the Year

Having gotten most of their holiday content out of the way in November, Netflix is switching gears to end the year on a high note, which means we have some top-notch originals coming our way. There's "The Prom," the Ryan Murphy musical adaptation starring the greats (Meryl Streep, James Corden, Nicole Kidman, etc.); "Bridgerton," Shonda Rhimes' debut Netflix series; "Selena: The Series," in which Christian Serratos stars as the Queen of Tejano music; and "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom," which features the late Chadwick Boseman in his final role. And, folks, the time has come: We must say goodbye to "The Office." Oh, and "Gossip Girl," too. I know, I know, it's the holidays, but look at it like this: Maybe you can ask for an HBO Max subscription for Christmas?
