Colorless Otter Pops: Is the Weird-Looking Alternative Worth the Health Benefits?

Following the lead of brands like Kraft, Frito-Lay and General Mills, Otter Pops has removed all artificial colors and flavors from their beloved frozen treats. The result is a dull, tan-ish-colored ice pop that customers are not very happy about. Since June, the pops are now made with 100 percent fruit juice and supposedly maintain their taste without the colors. The original ones will still be available in the future, but was it the right move? When General Mills tried the same thing, cereal people went bananas over the boring colors in a bowl of Trix -- it only lasted a year. Some acknowledge what Otter Pops is trying to do by getting rid of anything artificial, and...they want the colors back, anyway!
