Stanley Tucci has become internet-famous for teaching people how to make a Negroni, the Italian cocktail that is one part gin, one part vermouth rosso and one part Campari. Last night Tucci and his longtime friend, Colin Firth, appeared remotely on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" to promote their new film, "Supernova," about two lovers who are forced to deal with a life-changing illness while traveling the English countryside.
Colbert asked Firth if he's tried his friend's famous cocktail, which...of course he has!
"The internet has not tasted the Negroni. I have," he said. "You heard it here first. It's exquisite. It's what kept me coming around to Stanley's bungalow."
Tucci's love for cooking has landed him a cookbook and series that takes him to Italy. Firth's dry British humor adds a certain something to the interview that makes it all flow together so nicely.
