Welcome Some New Sounds of the Season This Year With These Beautiful Christmas Renditions

When it comes time to get fully into the Christmas mood, there's only one surefire way. OK, there are a lot of ways (watching "Elf," stuffing stockings, baking Santa-shaped cookies), but one really tops the list: listening to Christmas carols. Whether they're on in the background during the workday or part of planned carol sessions, singing along to those festive tunes (and, to this day, making up most of the words) gets the endorphins running and the Christmas cheer brewing. And even though we love the originals, every year there are new versions of the classics to look forward to from our favorite artists. Here are just a few and their jolly music videos that make us feel the Christmas spirit.

A different take on Mariah Carey's anthem, Parton challenged late-night host Fallon to a duet, accompanied by an adorable, animated music video beginning with a huge 2020 theme: video calls. As cartoon Dolly and cartoon Jimmy make their way through the country and beyond to each other, they end with a duo drive-in performance. We love this new take on the Christmas song.
