The general public will always be fascinated by two things: celebrities and dogs. It's been proven that for whatever reason, human beings are inherently interested in what other people are doing, and our voyeurism gets to be exploited at an all-time high when it comes to paying attention to the rich and famous. Likewise, (most) human beings are inherently obsessed with cute animals.
So of course a thread like Twitter user Maris Kreizman's is doing well right now. Kreizman posed the question, "What are the most iconic celebrity-with-dog pics?" and then answered it herself with a three-part series of the best photos of celebrities and their dogs I've seen.
And then people started chiming in with their own favorites that Kreizman missed, as well as fun videos like this one of John Legend serenading his and Chrissy Teigen's bulldogs.
Moral of the story here: Think smart, not hard, about wholesome content distribution.
Oh, and I need a dog ASAP.
