Since 2005, many in the U.K. have acknowledged "Blue Monday" in January that is the most depressing of the year. Though there is no actual science behind this designated day, life coach and happiness consultant Cliff Arnall has a pretty solid theory.
Arnall explained to The Sun that factors like weather, debt from Christmas shopping, failure to maintain New Year's resolutions and "general feelings of low motivation" all make up a formula that pinpoints a particular Monday (of course it's a Monday) that finds many of us, well, blue.
In an effort to help offset the sads, I've compiled a lovely bunch of tweets featuring animals being animals. Vote the ones that beat your blues to the top.
