1. Jay has been growing out his hair
For over a decade, every time Jay-Z has started making music he stops cutting his hair in order to get into his creative flow. In 2009, he talked about this process during an interview on New York's Hot 97.
“When I make music, I normally don’t cut my hair," he said. "I started last year [while working on "Blueprint 3"] and it's getting really bad. It’s terrible. But I think for the art, I can live with it.”
If you saw Jay-Z and Beyoncé at the Warrior-Pelicans game during the playoffs, it's obvious Jay has grown out the hair yet again for a new project.
