Wine Country is the perfect couples' retreat -- rolling vistas, flowing wine and charming inns. If you want all that, don’t go to Napa (unless you’re a fan of crowds, highways and strip malls). Sonoma is where it’s at. From Dry Creek Valley to Russian River Valley, there are so many small, yet excellent wineries to explore. A bike is a great way to do that. Don’t forget to go shopping in Healdsburg and get a couples' mud bath in nearby Calistoga -- nothing says love like warm mud!
