Keto Banana Bread
If you've ever done keto, it probably didn't take you too long to realize that you can't really eat fruit. Some berries are fine, but the harsh reality is that most fruit has way too high of a carb count to make it worth it. Case in point: bananas. One of these little guys has 27g of carbs -- not bad for a regular diet, but when you can only eat 20 to 25g of carbs per day, they're off limits.
So how can we make banana bread, you ask? By using banana extract! Just like vanilla or peppermint extract you've used in other recipes, banana extract is the perfect low-carb alternative to the real thing, making this recipe totally keto-friendly. Only 6g of carbs in one serving? Sign me up.
