Aly & AJ to Break out of the 2000s With Explicit "Potential Breakup Song" Remix

Today, Aly & AJ, the sister duo whose 2007 single "Potential Breakup Song" has held up in popularity ever since, announced on social media that 13 years after the song's release (and after a little bit of virality on TikTok), they're coming out with a new, explicit version of the song. The Michalka sisters tried to stage a comeback with a few EPs in both 2017 and 2019, but they didn't quite stick. This, though, a pristine example of artists growing with their audience, may get traction among their millennial fan base. The last time Aly & AJ were relevant, it was the thick of the 2000s, and it showed in their fashion.
