Adele Returns to Host "SNL" Nearly 12 Years to the Day After Her First Appearance

Last night, the Twitter account for "Saturday Night Live" announced that next weekend's Oct. 24 show will be hosted by none other than *drumroll* Adele! The singer followed up on Instagram with a certified anxious/excited freak-out, writing, "Bloooooody hellllll I'm so excited about this!! And also absolutely terrified!" and went on to remember how this appearance will shadow her very first one, as a musical guest in 2008: "It'll be almost 12 years to the day that I first appeared on the show, during an election...which went on to break my career in America, so it feels full circle."
