List1 of 10
1. "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"
This is probably Dahl’s best known work, about a young boy who wins a golden ticket to the candy factory of his dreams. It is a timeless story that still enchants children and adults alike with the dream of a lifetime supply of chocolate (never mind all the creepy fates that befall the naughty kids). And yes, we went old-school on the 1971 movie selection instead of choosing the 2005 Tim Burton/Johnny Depp update. The newer movie might be a more faithful adaptation, but the nostalgia has us here. Don’t you want to sing all those great songs along with your kids?
