Dailybreak allows people to win great prizes by completing fun and exciting Challenges. We give away everything from cash to cars, trips to tacos, scholarships to shopping sprees. New Challenges are launched every day.
Dailybreak started in the dorms of UMass Amherst by ten college friends looking to change the world of advertising. At that time, it was called CampusLIVE. It was a typical start-up: no one was paid, and no one cared that they weren't paid. We slept under our desks and ate Ramen noodles. We had all-night hack-a-thons and midday N64 matches. Everyone wanted a piece of the dream. At one point, we had over 80 interns coming into the office between classes and doing anything they could to help out and be a part of CampusLIVE. Currently, what once was a small start-up in Amherst, Mass., is now headquartered in downtown Boston and has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of users.
Participating on Dailybreak is free. We love giving away awesome prizes to people. You may be responsible for taxes on prizes of value greater than . If this applies to you, we will inform you.
Elisa Ungaro won a copy of the videogame Call of Duty: Black Ops in the Holiday Series Challenge on November 21, 2010.

This type of event is generally the result of browser "caching". A few things you can do to make sure everything is working properly:
- 1. Refresh the page and see your coin count is accurate.
- 2. Click on your coins to view your Coin History to ensure your actions were counted.
- 3. Clear your browser’s cache and/or cookies. (Note: You’ll need to log back into Dailybreak afterwards.)
If you're still experiencing the issue after 24 hours, please contact Support@Dailybreak.com with the subject line "Coin Update"
The coins for your account are associated with your log-in email address. If you connect through Facebook, and then attempt to sign in via your email address later, you must use the same email address as your Facebook account.
No. We do this to prevent cheating. It's your account and they are your coins.

Raffles are Dailybreak giveaways where we randomly select a winner from everyone who entered. Buy your ticket using coins won through Challenges!
No. When you enter a raffle you are committing your coins to the prize drawing.
Dailybreak Auctions give you a chance to win cool prizes by bidding your coins. The person with the highest bid when the auction clock runs out wins!
When you place a bid and become the highest bidder, we subtract the coins from your account. If someone outbids you, we return the coins to your account.
The auction page shows the current highest bid and lets you know if you've been outbid. We'll also send you an email saying you've been outbid.
You can also send an email to Support@Dailybreak.com with the subject line "Prize Booth Idea"
Yes. The moment you are outbid, you get your coins back, even if the prize has not yet been awarded. (That way, you can keep bidding while it’s open if you wish!) That said, sometimes due to browser caching, the coins don't appear in your account. This is a visual error only. Rest assured, you did/do get your coins back. A few things you can do to fix this error to view your correct coin amount:
- 1. Refresh the page to check that your coin count is accurate.
- 2. Click on your coins to view your Coin History to ensure your actions were counted.
- 3. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies. (Note: You’ll need to log back into Dailybreak afterwards.)
Don’t worry – you haven’t lost your chance to enter and win! You can filter through Challenges to find the one you're looking for back on the home page. There, under “Status,” select "In Progress."
There are two reasons for this change:
- 1. To ensure that every time you visit Dailybreak, you have challenges to do. We're rolling out new Challenges daily, and we want to keep it fresh for our users.
- 2. To make prevent certain types of cheating we’ve uncovered and therefore ensure the distribution of coins is more even across all our users.

Sound issues are generally caused by two things:
- 1. An out-of-date browser.
- 2. Browser compatibility with Dailybreak’s music player.
Try updating your preferred browser or using a more up-to-date version to fix this issue.
You can enter each Challenge only once. Good news though – we launch new Challenges daily and feature hundreds of Challenges on the site, each with multiple ways to win!
Everyone makes mistakes, and we're ready to fix any issues that may arise. Send an email to Support@Dailybreak.com with the subject line "Challenge Issue," and someone on our Content Team will take a look.
