What is your job at Dailybreak?
As Account Coordinator, I manage all of the paid campaigns for Dailybreak.com My day-to-day tasks include working with the sales team on new proposals, facilitating all tasks to launch a sponsored Challenge, and most importantly, making sure our clients are as happy as humanly possible.
What brought you to Dailybreak?
The man, the myth, the legend, THEE Jack Demanche. He initially informed me of the awesome culture and incredible mission that make up Dailybreak.
Do you have any favorite stories from your work life?
Beating Boris in Ping Pong has without a doubt been one of the biggest highlights of my career thus far. It is a memory I'll hold onto forever.
What does the typical day look like for you?
There's some googling, some writing, a lot of laughing, and definitely some challenge doing.
Why do you come to work in the morning?
Peer pressure. Everyone else at the office comes to work in the morning. Also, I love what I do and my co-workers are the bee's knees. No joke: I got to sleep thinking about Dailybreak challenges, then I dream about challenges, and then I wake up and think more about challenges. If I didn't have work in the morning, I'd go crazy.
What lessons has your work life taught you?
Make sure to laugh (and I mean really laugh) several times a day. If you don't, then stop whatever you are doing.
What advice would you give someone who is interested in pursuing a similar line of work?
Write about topics you feel most passionate about and you will create your best pieces.
What is the best part of working at Dailybreak?
I don't like to play favorites but if I had to pick one I'd have to say the people (awww!).
What's the coolest thing you've accomplished thus far working at Dailybreak?
Successfully creating, developing, and producing challenges.
